Returns and Refunds
We want every piece you bring home from Neythkari to be exactly right. If it is not, here is how our returns work.
The short version
Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery. All approved returns are refunded as Neythkari Credits (store credit only). We do not issue cash refunds or reversals to your original payment method.
What can be returned
- Items in original, unwashed, unworn condition with all tags attached
- Items free from odour, stains, or damage of any kind
- Items returned within 14 days of the delivery date
What cannot be returned
- Items washed, worn, altered, or damaged after delivery
- Items returned after 14 days of delivery
- Gift cards
- Items purchased during clearance or special sale events (if marked as final sale)
How to return
- Email us at neythkarihandloom@gmail.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Include your order number and the reason for return.
- We will confirm eligibility and share the return address (Chendamangalam, Kerala).
- Pack the item securely and ship it back using a trackable courier service. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer. We do not provide return shipping labels.
- Once we receive and inspect the item (usually within 3 working days of receipt), we will issue Neythkari Credits to your account.
Neythkari Credits
All approved returns are settled as Neythkari Credits. Store credit only, not a cash refund. Credits are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and can be used on any purchase at neythkari.com. Credits do not expire if used at least once within the 12-month period. Credits cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.
We have chosen this policy because handloom weaving is done in small batches. Each piece takes a weaver several days to complete. Credits ensure the value stays within the Chendamangalam weaving community and helps us continue supporting the artisans behind every piece.
Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement by emailing neythkarihandloom@gmail.com with your order number. After 24 hours, the order enters fulfilment and cannot be cancelled. Cancellations after dispatch are not possible. Please follow the returns process instead.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. Return the item for Neythkari Credits, then place a new order for the piece you want.
Damaged or incorrect items
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, email us at neythkarihandloom@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery with photographs. We will arrange a replacement or issue Neythkari Credits at our discretion.
Items lost in return transit
We recommend using a tracked courier for returns. Neythkari is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit. Once the return is received and inspected, credits are issued.
