Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Neythkari collects, how it is used, and your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDPA). By using this website or placing an order, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

When you place an order, we collect your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, and payment details. When you browse the site, anonymised usage data is collected through analytics tools described below.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use this site. GA4 collects anonymised data including pages visited, events triggered, and session duration. No personally identifiable information is sent to GA4. Data is processed by Google LLC under their privacy terms.

Advertising and conversion tracking

We use Meta Pixel (browser-based) and Meta Conversions API (server-side) to measure the performance of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram and to improve targeting. Both tools fire on events including PageView, ViewContent, AddToCart, InitiateCheckout, and Purchase.

Hashed data sharing

We share your email address and phone number in hashed form (SHA-256 one-way encryption) with Google via Enhanced Conversions and with Meta via their Customer Data Platform. This is used solely for conversion measurement and audience matching. The original data is never transmitted in readable form, and neither Google nor Meta can reverse the hash to recover your details.

Google Merchant Center

Product information including titles, prices, images, and availability is shared with Google Merchant Center to enable Neythkari products to appear in Google Shopping results.

Payments

All payments are processed by Razorpay. Card numbers, UPI IDs, and banking credentials are handled directly by Razorpay and are never stored on our servers. Please see Razorpay's privacy policy for their data practices.

Email marketing

If you subscribe to our mailing list, your email address is stored in Shopify Email and used to send you updates, offers, and editorial content from Neythkari. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email we send.

Back-in-stock alerts

If you register for a restock notification on an out-of-stock product via the Notify Me button, your email is stored by the Notify Me! app and used to send a single alert when the product is available. It is not added to any marketing list.

Instagram feed

Our website displays a feed of our public Instagram posts via Instafeed by Mintt. This integration does not collect any personal data from visitors.

Shopify platform

Neythkari operates on the Shopify platform. Shopify processes order data, customer data, and payment data as a data processor on our behalf. Please see Shopify's privacy policy for their practices.

Data retention

Order and customer data is retained for 7 years from the date of purchase, as required for accounting and legal compliance under Indian law.

Your rights under DPDPA 2023

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, write to us at the contact address on this website. We will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Session Recording and Behavioural Analytics

We use Microsoft Clarity, a session analytics service provided by Microsoft Corporation. Clarity records anonymised session data including mouse movements, scrolls, clicks, and on-page interactions to generate heatmaps and session replays. This data is used solely to understand how visitors use our website and to improve the shopping experience.

Clarity may also power on-site chat or agent interactions. Any conversation data shared via the Clarity-integrated chat is subject to Microsoft's data handling practices.

Information that Microsoft Clarity may collect includes:

  • Pages visited and time spent on each page
  • Mouse movements, scroll depth, and click patterns
  • Device type, browser, and screen resolution
  • IP address (anonymised or truncated by default)

This data is processed by Microsoft and stored on Microsoft's servers. We do not receive or store individually identifiable session data from Clarity. For more information, see Microsoft's Privacy Statement and the Microsoft Clarity privacy documentation.

If you do not wish to be tracked by Microsoft Clarity, you may opt out using Microsoft's opt-out tool at clarity.microsoft.com/optout, or by disabling JavaScript in your browser settings.
